WIND intensity today will continue to persist at the STRONG to VERY STRONG/extreme category along the NORTH, EAST COASTS and CENTRAL REGION, except in coastal areas where the conditions are expected to range from NORMAL to MODERATE/calm (8–19 km/h).

The wave height during the day will range from NORMAL to MODERATE (1.0–1.4 m) along both the WEST COAST and the SOUTH COAST.

      MTC-DNMG, through the Weather Forecast and Extreme Events Team, would like to inform the public that atmospheric conditions today are expected to remain relatively stable.

Across most municipalities in Timor-Leste, weather conditions will be predominantly partly cloudy, with some sunshine.

Except along the SOUTH COAST, particularly in the municipalities of MANUFAHI, MANATUTO and VIQUEQUE, where convective clouds are expected to develop during the afternoon and may produce light to moderate showers, especially over mountainous areas, from the late afternoon to the early evening.

⚠️ ADVISORY: Communities in mountainous areas and along the South Coast, particularly in the municipalities mentioned above, are advised to remain alert to changes in atmospheric conditions, especially from the late afternoon to the early evening.
